My heart beats an African rhythm
It's been a little over 10 years ago since I first set foot on South African soil. Although I was raised and have my roots in Udenhout, my heart never synced with the Dutch heartbeat of the earth. In South Africa I immediately felt like I had come home, finally. A warm embrace through my bewondering of natures' blessing, reconnecting with the heartbeat that had been out of sync for so long, over 25 years. I had found my home, my heart was home.
In this TED talk Boyd Varty speaks with such passion about his land, about our hero 'Madiba' and UBUNTU. Amazing!
I believe that children are our future
Amazed by the young people in the world. I have been looking for the right words to say to my supervisor at Fontys. The right words why I need to do more than what I am doing now and than Logan comes along and says it all... have a look at this TED talk. His talk reflect my motivation why I need to be working on innovation in our schools.
